Every professional has the ability to hone their craft. I plan to do so by taking leadership positions, connecting with others, and getting real-world experience in my field of work.

To achieve these goals I plan on following the objectives stated below.

Leadership: I will attend leadership workshops and classes and read books on different leadership styles and how they impact others. While learning these new skills I will integrate them into my current leadership positions and find a leadership style that works best for me and my peers.

Campaign: Practical experience is important to professional growth. To grow my professional skills I plan to partner up with a local business and help them promote their company utilizing skills learned in classes.

Networking: Making connections can influence what career path you go down. To open as many career paths as possible, I plan on attending conferences, workshops, attending chamber of commerce meetings, and volunteering in my community.

Internship: Real-world application of skills is crucial to finding the right career for you. This is why it is important to gain an internship in a career area you are interested in. I would like to accept a public relations oriented internship with a company such as Trozzolo in Kansas City. With a company like this, I will gain real-world experience in promoting companies.
